the great flood

THE GREAT FlOOD

Slowly and gradually human race multiplied and give grow in numbers.
it is inhabited various parts of the world.
They started forgetting God and developing Evil thoughts. only a man called Noah and is family where all virtuous, God said "I will destroy all the the forms of life which I created with my own hands.  Noah and his family shall survive."  Thinking thus God say to Noah I am planning to uproot the entire human race as they are indulging in evil deeds. They must be taught a lesson.
I will be sending a great flood that will destroy every speck of life existing on earth.
But you and your family will be spared as you have never sinned. So I advise you to build a huge timber boat with many rooms in it, also cover it with tar from inside and outside. Build a roof for the boat. Make sure to shelter a male and female of every kind of animal and bird so that their race does not come to an end. It will last for forty days and nights and obliterate the whole race of sinners.  Noah acted according to the commands of God. He and his whole family got engaged in building the ark. After seven days, it started raining heavily. The water level began to rise slowly and gradually. God opened all the doors of flood and let water loose on earth. Noah along with his family members boarded the ark. He also carried with himself a male and female of every bird and animal, as God had commanded.
The flood continued for forty days. The water drowned even the highest of the mountains. All forms of life existing on earth chocked to death. In the midst of this chaos, Noah's ark sailed across the floods without any hiccups. After one hundred and fifty days, water started going down. It took the Earth more than a year to be completely dry. Then one day, God said to Noah, " the days of adversity, are over. You may go out of the boat with your family and all those animals thus, Noah and the animals came out of the boat. Noah built an altar and burnt a few animals as a sacrifice to God. The odour of sacrifice pleased God and He blessed Noah and his family. Further, he said" This was the first and the last time such a flood has come. I'll never make mankind suffer so much. " God also created a rainbow as a token of His promise. He said whenever this rainbow will appear in the sky, I will see it and remember the promise that I have just made to you. God kept his words and never afflict the human race with so much trouble.
